An apparatus and a method for cutting a paper are provided to prevent a blade from being in contact with a bottom by a groove in a stand for holding the blade which has passed through the paper. An apparatus(200) for cutting a paper(202) comprises a stand(210) for mounting the paper, a fixing part(220) for fixing the paper on the stand, a cutting part(230) for cutting the fixed paper, a magnifying part(250) for magnifying the scale, a writing part(260), a holding part(270) for holding the paper, a cutting guide(240) for linearly guiding the paper on the base, a stand supporting part(280) attached/detached with respect to the stand and a waste collector(290). A scale(212) for cutting the paper is marked on the base. A mark is indicated based on the scale in the writing part. The stand supporting part has a wheel. |
