<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical test strip and a related system and method. <P>SOLUTION: The analytical test strip for determining an analyte in a bodily fluid sample includes a substrate layer, the electroluminescent lamp disposed in the substrate layer, the sample chamber disposed above the substrate layer and configured for receiving a bodily fluid sample and the enzymatic reagent disposed within the sample chamber.
