PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a nano-structure, permeating sol, even with large viscosity, freely to the bottom of pores in nanometer size in a porous film by preliminarily permeating a solvent, and the nano-structure comprising gel having a much larger surface area than the surface area of pore walls. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the nano-structure, comprising a sol substance attached to the porous film comprising pores in nanometer size, the solvent that can dissolve or disperse the sol substance is permeated in the pores, and the sol substance is brought into contact with the porous film 10, so that the substance is permeated into the pores by a sol-gel method.
