The fuel cell has a bowl plate (2) that has passage openings (4a, 4b) in edge areas for reaction gases, which react at an electrode-electrolyte-unit (3). A window plate (1) is detachably connected with the bowl plate in a welded or comparative manner. The window plate includes the passage openings in the edge areas. Welded joints are formed between the window and bowl plates at the passage openings in the form of push fit-gaps and at edges in the form of overlapping gaps. The plates are present under a small correction angle in the overlapping gaps.
