An apparatus for treating food waste is provided to suppress the emission of odor when the food waste is inputted into the apparatus, and input the food waste into the apparatus conveniently, by using a movable input bath. An apparatus for treating food waste comprises a fermenting bath(36) for fermenting and decomposing food waste, and a stirrer for deodorizing and discharging steam and gas, which are generated during decomposition of the food waste, and collecting and removing dregs of the food waste. A transporting unit(33) is positioned at a body fixed to an upper portion of the fermenting bath. The transporting unit moves a movable input bath(B) to an input position(C), a sealing position(A), or a discharge position. The movable input bath is sealed during movement, and discharges preliminarily stored food waste at the discharge position. |
