A plasma display panel is provided to drain an impurity gas remaining in a discharge space through gaps formed between broad portions of a frit applied on a rear substrate at regular intervals, before the rear substrate and a front substrate are not sealed. A front substrate(20) and a rear substrate(10) are opposite to each other, and a frit(50) is disposed along edges of the rear and front substrates to seal the rear and front substrates. The frit has broad portions(50a) having a predetermined length and joint portions(50b) interposed between the broad portions to connect the broad portions. The broad portion has a length of 3 to 10 mm, and the joint portion has a length of 0.5 to 5 mm, in which the length of the joint portion is shorter than the width of the broad portion.
