COOLER FOR WATER COOLING DEVICE FOR ELECTRONICS BY USING PCM

A heat sink for a water cooling device for electronic equipment using PCM(Phase Change Materials) is provided to have high heat radiation performance by cooling water through phase change latent heat of the PCM and natural convection without using separate power. A heat sink(1) for a water cooling device for electronic equipment using PCM includes a body(10), a plurality of cooling fins(5), upper and lower covers(20a,20b), a cooling water pipe(17), and a refrigerant. The body has a passage(12) inside. The plurality of cooling fins are formed on an outer surface of the body and have pointed ends. The upper and lower covers have spaces connected to the passage of the body respectively and cover upper and the lower ends of the body to form a sealed space. The cooling water pipe is extended inside the passage of the body and connected to a circulation cooling pipe of the water cooling device to flow cooling water therein. The refrigerant is filled in the passage of the body and inner spaces of the upper and lower covers to cool the cooling water with phase change latent heat.
