FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: shredder of tuberous roots consists of carrier vehicle with hooks and the drive. Over the carrier vehicle the set of knifes parallel among themselves is installed. Knifes are fixed on a carcase with an inclination of 30...42° to a plane of the carrier vehicle and also form in a horizontal plane a wedge with an angle of 70...135°. The carcase is supplied by the top plate which is inclined towards unloading of the crushed material and it is installed with possibility of turning regarding its top face and fixation in an operating position by the safety gear. Back side posts of a carcase have an emphasis. Knifes are double-armed with holes between arms and in the top part of a knife. And they are installed on axes with possibility of position changing in vertical planes in parallel to a carrier vehicle moving direction. The top arms of knifes are connected among themselves by the tie-rods jointed with the vibrator installed on the top plate of a carcase, in parallel to it, along an axis of the carrier vehicle. ^ EFFECT: power consumption of crushing process of tuberous roots decreases and its reliability raises. ^ 3 dwg
