A rotative input device of a mobile terminal and the mobile terminal having the device are provided to easily apply an input signal to a controller by rotation of a rotary key, thereby easily and consecutively applying input signals compared to button types when using the input signals as scroll signals or Internet searching signals. A support(20) has a supporting shaft(22) equipped with a through hole piercing right and left side ends, and wherein the left side end is inserted into a right side end of a rotary key(10) to support rotation of the rotary key. A left side end of a rotational shaft(30) is fixed to the right side end of the rotary key by passing the through hole of the supporting shaft. A rotary module(40) generates a scroll signal by sensing rotation of the rotary key through contact with a right side end of the rotational shaft.
