A black box for a rear view mirror is provided to record environmental circumstances of a vehicle in the black box such that reasons of an accident are precisely pursued. A black box for a rear view mirror comprises a main body(10) having first to fourth cameras(12,13,14) integrally formed with the body member, an infrared image detecting unit, a display unit(30) for showing image information, and a central processing unit. The infrared image detecting unit includes an objective lens disposed on the body member while extending toward the body member, and a light amplifier onto which light is incident through the objective lens. The central processing unit is interactively connected with the first to fourth cameras, the infrared image detecting unit and the display unit.
