FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: appliance for correction of constriction of upper jaw dental arch consists of the supporting components with adjacent rods fused to them from the palatine surface, and vestibular arch fixed inside vertical tubes. The vestibular arch is supplied with myostabiliser, which includes the hard shaper at the constriction side, and instable shaper at the healthy side of the upper jaw. The hard shaper consists of the fixing insert loop with inflexibly fixed removable plastic insert; its internal surface duplicates the loop relief. In the lateral side of the insert, the screw hole is made to adjust the power of vestibular arch, and the flexible shaper is made in curved loops. ^ EFFECT: simultaneous correction of morphologic and functional abnormalities of dental-jaw system in patients with unilateral constriction of upper jaw dental arch. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
