A unit for mounting an engine for a vehicle is provided to employ one a primary stopper and two secondary stoppers in order to control the displacement and the shock of a load that is not absorbed by an insulator. A unit for mounting an engine includes an insulator(1) and a bracket(3). The bracket is used to mount the insulator between a vehicle body and the engine. The bracket includes a socket bracket having a circular shape. The insulator is inserted into the socket bracket. An extension part(21) is formed at the outer circumferential surface of the socket bracket. A frame bracket(13) is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the socket bracket corresponding to the lower portion of the extension part.
