Tensioner for a belt drive (1), including a rigid element (12) rotatably connected around a first axis (B) and a couple of idle pulleys (17, 18) supported by a rigid element (12) on opposing parts of axis (B) and adapted to cooperate with respective sections (31, 32) of a belt (30) of belt drive (1). The tensioner (2) also includes a mobile element (25) hinged to a second fixed axis (A) carrying the first axis (B).
