A heating cooking appliance is provided to smoothly circulate combustion air in a casing and increase the ratio of air in gas by smoothly discharging combustion gas producing when a gas mixture is burned, to the outside, thus improving combustion efficiency. A cooking appliance includes at least one burner pot(4), a red-hot plate(12), at least one burner frame(11), and a guide unit(18). An opening is formed in the burner pot. The red-hot plate is mounted to the opening. The burner frame provides a path for exhausting combustion gas which is produced when a gas mixture is burned in the red-hot plate. The guide unit is provided on an outlet end of the burner frame, and has a gently-inclined guide surface, so that the combustion gas moves along the guide surface. The guide unit extends from the rear end of the burner frame to be rounded upwards. The guide unit is coupled to the burner frame.
