The device has a collecting assembly with a mobile arm (1) mounted in a section-iron (15) and positioned in a horizontal position by a driving motor (3) for being engaged in a signalling cone progressive to displacement of a vehicle (V). The motor moves the arm to a vertical position to bring the cone on a horizontal support plane (2a). The assembly has an ergonomic protection case (2) with proximity detectors (6, 7) delivering an electric signal during engagement of the arm and before contact of the cone with the case for controlling the motor driving the arm along a closed loop cycle.
