The railway train composed of a head vehicle having a central station and an operator's cab, and middle vehicles having terminal stations, forms a transmission system by the optical fiber transmitting path. The light transmission system comprises central stations (12)(12a) (13a) executing a bypass mode terminal function, a central function, and a loopback mode terminal function; transmitting paths (15),(15a) (16),(16a) formed between the head vehicles (11)(11a) and the central stations (12)(12a)(13)(13a); and optical couplers (14)(14a) formed on the leading end of the head vehicles (11)(11a) to connect between the transmitting paths. |
