<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for statistically predicting the quality of inflow water in a water disposal facility to effectively simulate a water quality parameter such as a BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) which cannot be measured in real time. <P>SOLUTION: This method includes steps for: collecting a plurality kinds of measurement data by monitoring water to be measured for a fixed period (step S1), analyzing a correlation between first measurement data non-detectable in real time and second measurement data detectable in real time among the measurement data (step S2 and S3), selecting one or a plurality of second measurement data having the highest correlation with the first measurement data as optimum parameters on the basis of the analysis result (step S4), setting a regression model for predicting the first measurement data of the target water on the basis of the correlation between the optimum parameter and the first measurement data to calculate a prediction value of the first measurement data in real time on the basis of the regression model (step S5-11). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
