PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity dispensing unit for a vending machine capable of suppressing mischieves made from the outside of a commodity outlet to the commodity delivery unit. SOLUTION: In the commodity dispensing unit 40 for a vending machine having a dispensing bucket 70 which receives a commodity carried from the commodity delivery unit at the receiving position and dispenses the commodity at a take-out position facing the commodity outlet in front of the receiving position, access from the outside of the commodity outlet to the commodity delivery unit can be prevented since a bucket turning means for turning the dispensing bucket 70 so that a receiving face 70b erected from an inclined face for sliding the received commodity faces between the position facing the commodity outlet and the position facing the commodity delivery unit while the dispensing bucket 70 moves from the receiving position to the take-out position, and consequently, mischieves to the commodity delivery unit can be suppressed.
