[PROBLEMS] To provide a pressure sensitive adhesive film that is low in the change of adhesive strength between a stage immediately after application to an adherend and a stage after aging and that is impervious to storage conditions when the pressure sensitive adhesive film is stored in rolled form. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The pressure sensitive adhesive film is characterized by being an oriented polypropylene resin film of a laminate consisting of a base layer of polypropylene resin provided at its surface with a pressure sensitive adhesive layer wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive layer at its surface has an average roughness, SRa, of 0.032 µm or less, and wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive layer at its surface has a dynamic hardness of 0.15 to 1.4 gf/µm<SUP>2</SUP>, and wherein the thickness variability rate in the lateral direction perpendicular to the take-up direction at film production is in the range of 2.0 to 7.5%, and wherein the amount of low-molecular-weight substances on the surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is less than 1 mg/m<SUP>2</SUP>.
