A plasma display panel is provided to improve transmittance of visible light with shielding EMI(ElectroMagnetic Interference) by forming through holes in a net type mesh. A rear substrate and a front substrate face each other at a predetermined interval. An address electrode is extended from the rear substrate in a first direction. A barrier rib is arranged between the rear and front substrates to separate discharge cells. A sustain electrode and a scan electrode are extended from the front substrate in a second direction crossing the address electrode to form a discharge gap. A filter is formed at an outer side of the front substrate. The filter has a mesh(40) to shield EMI. The mesh has a first mesh member(40a) extended in a lengthwise direction, a second mesh member(40b) extended in a direction crossing the first mesh member, and a through hole(42) in a cross part of the first and second mesh members.
