PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording body, in which neither alteration such as the unlawful re-transferring of the transfer layer thereof nor falsification of the information recording body itself or the like develops in an image forming body produced by transferring the employed information recording body by means of an intermediate transferring system. SOLUTION: This information recording body 5 is equipped with a transferring layer 2, which can come off a web-like support 20 and shift onto a base material 10 and has at least an image receiving layer (or an image receiving layer-cum-bonding layer 26 in a figure) on the support 20 under the condition that image information 30 comprising images, characters or the like is formed on the image receiving layer-cum-body layer 26, the delicate characteristic information of the surface of the base material 10 is recorded either on the image receiving layer or on the base material 10 under the condition that this information recording body, one of records of the delicate characteristic information 36 is formed by employing an invisible material having luminescence or absorption only in an infrared region or an ultraviolet region.
