<p>Process for welding together two, preferably metallic components by means of an energy beam, preferably a laser beam which is traversed along the welding joint, which has an open groove (8) on the side opposite the welding head and a deposition region at the base of the groove in which the components lie opposite each other, formation of a welding seam (12), and traversing of the welding seam with a laser or electron beam, with avoidance of smoke. An independent claim is included for at least two bodies (4, 21) placed together, preferably hollow space bodies, welded together by a laser beam.</p> |
