PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for and a method of producing globules having extremely narrow range of mass fluctuation. SOLUTION: The globule production apparatus includes: a holder for holding a melt; a furnace body for supporting the holder; a guide path which is connected to the holder and through which the melt is made to flow out of the holder; a nozzle for the outflow of the melt in the guide path; a collection means for collecting the globules formed by falling the melt flowing out from the nozzle; and a vibration control means for controlling the vibration of at least one of the furnace body, holder and nozzle resulting from disturbance.
