摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified architecture for a system for operating an aircraft landing gear. SOLUTION: This hydraulic system for operating the landing gear of an aircraft includes a hydraulic circuit comprising a first hydraulic line "DOWN" 6 lowering the landing gear when pressurized and a second hydraulic line "UP" 5 raising the landing gear when pressurized. The lines are selectively pressurized by a hydraulic distribution means comprising at least one shut-off valve 10 and one selector 12 for communicating one of the lines with a sending path and the other line with a return path. The architecture further includes passive bypass means 54, 55 disposed between an admission line 20 extending between the shut-off valve 10 and the selector 12 and the second line "UP" 5 for bypassing the selector 12 and a forced return path connection means 53 for forcedly working the shut-off valve 12 to shut off a pressure circuit of the aircraft and connecting the admission line 20 to the return path.
