PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency and compression efficiency of a compression part by taking cold cooling air into a cover member when a plurality of compression units are provided side by side. SOLUTION: Air intake ports 20, 50 of packages 12, 42 are provided with opposing each other when a first compression unit 11 and a second compression unit 41 are provided on an air tank 2 side by side. Consequently, in the two compression units 11, 41, the air intake ports 20, 50 are gathered at one section and the air intake ports 20, 50 are separated from any of external delivery ports 21, 22, 51, 52. The air intake ports 20, 50, therefore, can take cold air into packages 12, 42 without sucking cooling air of elevated temperature discharged from the packages 12, 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
