PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet by which the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet having excellent film characteristics can be produced while suppressing a rise in equipment cost and to provide an apparatus for producing the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. SOLUTION: The method for producing the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprises a step of transporting a laminated sheet in which a resin layer containing a photopolymerizable composition is sandwiched between a pair of light-transmitting sheets in a prescribed direction, irradiating the laminated sheet with light and thereby subjecting the photopolymerizable composition to a polymerization reaction. The method is characterized as follows: the laminated sheet is reciprocally transported toward the upstream side or downstream side while making the transportation direction alternately different for each position in a prescribed distance, and the right side and the back side of a pass line of the reciprocally transported laminated sheet are simultaneously irradiated with the light for each position.
