PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise an engine speed more rapidly when there is a kickdown in a drive control device for a vehicle having a continuously variable transmission (CVT). SOLUTION: A zero inertia unit 8 is provided for applying inertial force If to an output shaft 3 of an engine 2 when there is a kickdown. The zero inertia unit 8 includes a planetary gear mechanism 24 and a flywheel 25. On/off of transmission of power between the flywheel 25 and the output shaft 3 of the engine 2 via the planetary gear mechanism 24 is carried out by a second clutch 26. When there is a kickdown, under conditions that a rotational speedωf of the flywheel 25 is zero or a value approximate to zero, the second clutch 26 is turned off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
