<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance visibility of display in the transmission display area and the liquid crystal display area of a liquid crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display area 9 and the transmission display area 10 are partitioned by a sealing material 17 disposed in the gap between both transparent substrates 6 and a viewing side polarizing plate 21 and an anti-viewing side polarizing plate 22 are disposed on the viewing side and on the anti-viewing side in only the liquid crystal display area 9 of the liquid crystal display panel 5. The outer edge of the viewing side polarizing plate 21 is formed in such a size that can be disposed along the outer edge of a liquid crystal display partitioning part 17A of the sealing material 17 and the outer edge of the anti-viewing side polarizing plate 22 is formed in such a size that can be disposed along the inner edge of the liquid crystal display partitioning part 17A of the sealing material 17. A liquid crystal 7 is encapsulated in a position corresponding to the transmission display area 10 in the gap between both transparent substrates 6 and a first liquid crystal 7 injection port for injecting the liquid crystal 7 in the liquid crystal display area 9 and a second liquid crystal 7 injection port for injecting the liquid crystal 7 in the transmission display area 10 are formed on the same one side of the liquid crystal display panel 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
