<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device having a reduced size while preventing the mixture of metal ions into fluid flowing in an internal fluid passage and preventing the deformation of a valve frame in the direction of its axis and in the direction perpendicular thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The valve device comprises the valve frame 3 having the internal fluid passage 2 provided with openings in a bent portion 2a and in both ends, and a valve seat 13 provided at one end of the internal fluid passage 2, a shaft member 4 provided on the valve frame 3 slidably in the direction of connecting the bent portion 2a to the opening 11 in one end, and a valve element 5 provided at the front end of the shaft member 4 so as to be movable from the opening in the bent portion 2a into the internal fluid passage 2. The valve frame 3 covers both-side portions of a valve frame body 10 in the sliding direction of the shaft member 4 and a portion of the shaft member 4 along its peripheral direction in the state of connecting holding covers 20, 21, 22 to one another.
