AIR CONDITIONER AND ITS OPERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner and its operating method suppressing energy consumption without a need to simultaneously perform air-conditioning and heating in ozonation, and eliminating not only bacteria but also mold by ozonation. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a humidifier 12 wetting the inside of an indoor unit 1 to obtain predetermined humidity; an ozone generator 5 arranged on the windward side of an indoor heat exchanger 3; and an air-conditioning control device having an operation mode of ozonation by generating ozone from the ozone generator 5 in a state of maintaining the inside of the indoor unit 1 to the predetermined humidity by the humidifier 12.
