SKIN AGENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING AN EXTRACT OF OPHIGLOSSUM VULGATUM

An external skin composition comprising the extract of Ophiglossum vulgatum is provided to inhibit skin inflammation and skin aging by inhibiting MMP(matrix metalloproteinase), controlling MMP expression through UV(ultraviolet) irradiation, synthesizing collagen and improving skin wrinkles, reducing skin irritation after UV irradiation, and prevent hair loss and acnes without side effects. An external skin composition for inhibiting inflammation, preventing hair loss, and preventing and treating acnes comprises 0.001-30.0 wt.% of the extract of Ophiglossum vulgatum prepared by extraction with a solvent, and has a formulation selected from cosmetic water, gel, water-soluble liquid, cream, essence, O/W(oil-in-water) type or W/O(water-in-oil) type cosmetic formulation, shampoo, rinse, hair conditioner, soap and ointment, wherein the solvent is purified water, methanol, ethanol, glycerin, ethylacetate, butylenes glycol, propylene glycol, dichloromethane or hexane.
