An image searching method and an image device adapting the same are provided to search the images effectively by a user, thereby reducing the searching time of the image. A process for dividing the reproduction possible time of a moving picture minutely by the plural first time sections is performed(S225). The moving pictures at the plural first time sections are combined with each other so that the combined picture is reproduced by a screen(S230). When a time section is selected among plural first time sections, the selected time section is divided into plural second time sections minutely(S240). The moving pictures at the plural second time sections are combined with each other so that the combined picture is reproduced by a screen(S245). When the moving picture at any one time period among plural second time sections, the selected moving picture is enlarged and reproduced by one screen(S255).
