A drawstring bag for holding ground bait comprises a bag 2 made from polyvinyl acetate (PVA) and a draw cord 1. The bag is used to hold and cast dry ground bait 7, a fishing line 3 and a hook 5 into the water. Upon contact with water the bag dissolves releasing its contents. The bag is manufactured from a folded film of PVA which is heat sealed along two edges. The draw cord 1 is retained by a row of holes provided along the open edge [Figure 1], or in a seam formed by folding over the edge of the open end [Figure 2]. |
