<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for curved surface generation and a storage medium which can prevent various processing functions for a curved surface after merging from becoming slow and also prevent trouble from occurring to numeric computation by the processing functions. SOLUTION: The parameter space of one section rational Bezier curve between two section rational Bezier curves is fixed and the other section rational Bezier curve is parameterized again so as to match the NOT vector of the section rational Bezier curve having the parameter space fixed. Consequently, the NOT vector after the two section rational Bezier curves are merged can be made to match the NOT vector of the former section rational Bezier curve, so that various processing functions for the curved surface after the merging can be prevented from becoming slow and trouble is prevented from occurring to each numeric computation by the processing functions.</p> |
