LAMP SOCKET AND BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY HAVING THE SAME

A lamp socket and a back light assembly having the same are provided to enhance the reliability of an electrical connection between an electrode member of a lamp and a power supply member of the lamp socket. A socket body(31) has a connection hole opened toward upper and lower directions. A power applying member(40) is arranged at the connection hole so that an electrode member of a lamp arranged at the upper side is supported. A portion of a socket cover is detachably arranged at the connection hole. An electrode fixing member is combined with the socket cover and contacted with the electrode member. The electrode fixing member includes the first lamp connection terminal(61) including the first fixing member and the first contact member. The second contact member(65) includes the second fixing member combined with the socket cover and the second contact member contacted with the other side of the electrode member.
