A hood impact absorbing device in a vehicle is provided to prevent interference with a hood and a bumper by installing a hood floating device for lifting up the front side of the hood by the elastic force of a spring member. A hood impact absorbing device in a vehicle comprises a ratchet member mounted inside an engine room, a raising member(20), projection parts(30), a slider(40), a spring member(55), and a hood floating device(50). The raising member rotated in one end of the ratchet member is penetrated between an upper panel and a lower panel of a hood. The projection parts, which are mounted on a slider to prevent separation between the upper panel and the lower panel, include first engaging parts(31) mounted on the raising member and second engaging parts(33) separated from the first engaging parts to operate the slider. The slider is selectively engaged with the projection parts. The spring member is mounted between the projection parts and the upper panel. The hood floating device connected to one side of the slider through a cable(41) disengages the slider from the projection parts by drawing the cable while raising up the rear side of the hood by a lifting operation in transmission of impact. |
