A functional mop is provided to improve the convenience of use and the efficiency of cleaning by attaching an impurity removing member made of rubber, or silicon to one side and the periphery of a main body. A functional mop comprises a main body(20) for cleaning the floor and a handle(40) for holding by hands. The main body is fixed on a fixing part(60) or a plate(80). An impurity removing member(100) attached to one side of the periphery of the main body is made of any one of metal, synthetic resin, rubber, silicon, and mineral material. The impurity removing member has an attaching part for the impurity removing member(120) which is attached to the mop. The attaching part for the impurity removing member is any one of Velcro, buttons, adhesives, tapes, silicon, strings, and insertion or engaging type sewing.
