A prism sheet made of silicone rubber is provided to reduce a defective ratio by excluding the existing plastic film coating process. In a prism sheet(201) used for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) backlight unit, the prism structure is formed on the surface of the sheet. The prism sheet is made of thermosetting silicone resin. The silicone prism sheet is produced by heating, pressing, and molding liquid silicone in a sheet form in a mold having the structure of a prism original plate. A metal frame is attached at the edge of the silicone prism sheet.
