A water-soluble antifouling paint, and a method for preparing the water-soluble antifouling paint are provided to improve antifouling property, economical efficiency and environmental friendliness by using water instead of an organic solvent. A water-soluble antifouling paint comprises 32-42 wt% of an acrylic emulsion resin; 4-7 wt% of an alcohol; 2-7 wt% of a first antifouling agent represented by C9H10Cl2N2O; 0.1-0.5 wt% of a second antifouling agent represented by H3BO3; 1-1.6 wt% of a third antifouling agent represented by C6H8O7.H2O; 0.2-0.6 wt% of an emulsifier represented by (C2H4O)10C15H24O; 12-18 wt% of a thickener comprising hydroxyethyl cellulose; 28-37 wt% of a pigment which comprises 20-30 wt% of iron oxide, 60-70 wt% of cuprous oxide and 8-12 wt% of talc; and 2-5 wt% of an additive which comprises 2-4 wt% of a preservative, 25-35 wt% of an antifreezing agent, 10-20 wt% of a dispersant, 4-8 wt% of an antifoaming agent, 40-45 wt% of a film forming agent and 2-4 wt% of a film stabilizer. |
