TECHNIQUE FOR GENERATING PANCREATOENTEROANASTOMOSIS

A technique for generating pancreatoenteroanastomosis comprises the successive suturing and the invagination of the stump of pancreas into the lumen of the intestine. First, uninterrupted suture of purse-string type is applied between the pancreatic stump and the intestine. At the distance from the edge of pancreas, the intestine is dissected to the subserous layer and the interrupted sutures are applied between the pancreas and the serous later of the intestine distally to the suture applied before. Beforehand, the major pancreatic duct is sutured with the intestine using the concealed drainage.
