PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten glass delivery pipe which prevents molten glass from undergoing compositional dispersion during flow therethrough and is therefore useful for the production of high-quality glass, a glass production apparatus equipped with such molten glass delivery pipe, and a glass molding or optical element production method using such molten glass delivery pipe. SOLUTION: On the inner circumferential surface of a molten glass delivery pipe which constitutes at least part of a passage which guides and delivers molten glass from a container, an irregular shape agitating the molten glass during flow therethrough, more particularly, an irregular shape comprising a spirally and longitudinally formed recessed groove and/or a spirally and longitudinally formed protruded streak is formed.
