THE REMOVAL METHOD OF HEAVY METALS FROM CCA TREATED WOOD BY BIOLOGICAL METHODS

A method for removing heavy metals from CCA treated wood is provided to remove the heavy metals existing in the CCA treated wood safely with very high efficiency by using microorganism and recycle the heave metal removed wood. A method for removing heavy metals from CCA treated wood comprises a step of treating the CCA treated wood with Tyromyces palustris or Aspergillus niger, wherein the heavy metal is at least one selected from the group consisting of chrome(Cr), copper(Cu) and arsenic(As).
