A printer is provided to enable a dispenser to move to an applying area of a gravure roll effectively without interference with a peripheral structure and improve applying efficiency of color resist on the gravure roll. A gravure roll(5) transfers color resist to an outer surface of a blanket roll for printing the color resist on the surface of a substrate. A dispenser(10) comprises an applying unit(11) and an applying unit support unit(21). The applying unit applies the color resist to the outer surface of the gravure roll. The applying unit support unit supports the applying unit so as for the applying unit to move between a work position, for applying the color resist to the outer surface of the gravure roll, and a wait position deviated from the gravure roll. The applying unit support unit comprises the following parts. A rail body(22) is fixed and disposed in parallel to the gravure roll at a location adjacent to the gravure roll. A rail block(23) is slidably coupled with the rail body, and moves along a length direction of the gravure roll. A rotation connection arm(29) connects the applying unit so as to rotate on the rail block. Therefore, the applying unit rotates and moves between the work position and the wait position crossing each other.
