<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular power supply which can accommodate a power factor improving circuit or a DC/DC converter smoothly in a standardized single package. <P>SOLUTION: For the modular power supply 1, the outside dimensions of a package 2 are standardized. This package 2 is provided with first middle terminals +BC and -BC, and the user can connect an electrolytic capacitor 43 for charge of boosted voltage to the outside of the package 2, making use of the first middle terminals +BC and -BC. Accordingly, there is no need to build an electrolytic capacitor 43 with a large capacitance having the same function into a power factor improving circuit 4 accommodated in the package 2, and he can accommodate the power factor improving circuit 4 and the DC/DC converter 5 in the same package 2 smoothly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
