PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight chair for nursing care having a simple structure, facilitating the transfer of a care-receiver having difficulty in walking without adopting a large-scale lifting mechanism, a rotating mechanism and the like, allowing a single caregiver to do the nursing care without any help of a plurality of caregivers and reducing the physical burden of the care-receiver to be transferred. SOLUTION: A seat part 8 and a backrest 9 are mountably/demountably supported by a frame body or supported extendably/contractably along the frame body, and the frame body is so formed that the care-receiver sitting on a pedestal such as a bed or a toilet seat can pass thereunder along with the pedestal with the seat part 8 and the backrest 9 detached therefrom or stored therein.
