PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a current host device to be suspended by operating a device which functions as a current device so that an HNP is available. SOLUTION: A USB device has a transceiver 12 which transmits an SOF packet to a second USB device 20 through a USB bus 30 when the first USB device 10 has the right to serve as a host, a receiver 13 which receives a signal of the USB bus 30 that transmits the SOF packet, an error detector 16 which checks an error for a CRC bit of the SOF packet received by the receiver 13, and a controller 11.
