Disclosed is a laminate steel sheet for a two-piece can body, which compr ises a steel sheet and a copolyethylene terephthalate resin layer formed on at least one surface of the steel sheet and which satisfies the requirements expressed by the formulae shown below, wherein the copolyethylene terephtha late resin layer comprises at least one member selected from the group consi sting of isophthalic acid and cyclohexanedimethanol as a copolymerization co mponent in an amount of 5 to 20 mol% and has a crystallization temperature o f 120 to 140~C. r1 <= r, 0.1 <= r1/R <= 0.25, and 1.5 <= h/(R-r) <= 4 [wherein, r1: a minimum radius of the can body, r: a maximum radius of the can body, h: a height of the ban body, and R: a radium of a cylindri cal, unmolded product of the laminate steel sheet which has the same weight as that of the can body.] The laminate steel sheet is suitable for a two-pie ce can body having high processability and enables to provide a two-piece ca n free from the concern of peeling or breakage in the resin layer.
