PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor drive device capable of reducing power consumption of a stepping motor and also restraining the degradation in shake correction performance. SOLUTION: The stepping motor drive device includes the stepping motors 2 and 3, and a CPU 6 having a function to switch applied voltage given to the stepping motors 2 and 3 between first applied voltage and second applied voltage. When drive frequency is equal to or under predetermined frequency, the CPU 6 divides one pulse, and switches the first applied voltage to the second applied voltage after applying the first applied voltage for predetermined time.
