<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid paper container of a high barrier type using a deposition film as a barrier layer on the content side and of a mirror (or semi-mat) type in which a thermoplastic resin layer serving as the outermost layer is smooth for enhanced glossiness, the container which is designed so as to ensure an improved wear resistance of the surface of the container. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid paper container (B) is formed of a laminated material (A) formed by laminating, in the following order, paper serving as a base material (1), then, at least the weldable thermoplastic resin layer (2) serving as the outermost layer, a gas barrier layer (3) having a smooth mirror face (or semi-mat) and serving as an intermediate layer, and a weldable sealant layer (4) serving as the innermost layer. The liquid container (B) has a top (11) having a spout (14), a body (12), and a bottom (13). In the liquid paper container (B).
