PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a player's game experience so that the player can more enjoy the game. SOLUTION: The chance game based on cards to be provided comprises a deck of regular playing cards, an additional special card, and a random selecting device for determining supplementary payment to a player if the special card is distributed to the player. Participation in betting on the chance game based on cards is facilitated by adding the special card to the deck of regular playing cards and permitting the operation of the random selection device for determining the supplementary payment to the player to whom the special card is distributed. The device for playing the game comprises the deck of regular playing cards, the special card added to the deck, and the random selection device for determining supplementary payment to a player if the special card is distributed to the player.
